Anita Clark Design’s strength as a designer who can oversee the creation of a home from the external architectural envelope to the interior final touches is exemplified in her own home.
After Anita and her husband lost a previous home in a fire Anita designed this home from the ground up. The home went from tear-down to move-in only 5 months. Her strong background in architectural design and project management was evident as she managed the entire design and construction process from drawing up plans to specifying millwork and finishes, fabrics and furnishings.
The house features a well-appointed yet efficient design. The main floor consists of an open layout for the kitchen, dining room, and living room, and a separate master suite, making the house perfect for the modern lifestyle and casual entertaining preferred by Anita and her husband, while a spacious upstairs allows for privacy for out of town company or visiting family.
