City Living

This project perfectly met the needs of a family that had moved to Boston from California. They’d decided to rent before settling down, so they were exploring both the city and its suburbs when they fell love with an historic urban home. They decided to go for it despite its need for an extensive renovation. The project included transforming the existing kitchen with all new appliances, custom countertops and backsplash; adding a gas fireplace with a custom mantel; and renovating the master suite (which included adding a walk-in closet and extra storage wherever it could be found). Anita’s team selected all the interior finishes and new furnishings for the great room, living area, bedrooms, and bathrooms, including all artwork and accessories. The project also included refurbishing the hardwood floors and crown molding throughout; designing custom window treatments; and installing new recessed and decorative lighting. And, as proof of her time management skills, Anita worked closely with the contractor to fulfill her client’s request to make all the magic happen on a fast-track schedule.
